Ilse is our Administrative Assistant. Her role is all about supporting the team with their day-to-day tasks – whether it’s helping with scheduling, organizing documents, managing communication, or just lending a hand whenever it’s needed.
Ilse enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things organized and make others’ jobs a little easier. Ilse is detail-oriented, reliable, and always ready to help out with whatever needs doing.
Ilse finds it rewarding to be part of a team where everyone plays a role and she takes pride in contributing to the bigger picture.
Outside of work, Ilse is usually busy being a mum, which keeps her on her toes! She likes spending time with friends and family. Her passion is taking long walks when she gets the chance – it’s her favorite way to unwind and recharge.
Assuming the role of Project Supervisor, Clint Thomas brings nearly three decades of experience in the building industry. Starting as a certified carpenter since 1995 and supervising home builds since 2012, Clint combines in-depth knowledge of construction process with exceptional communication skills, ensuring every project is completed with precision and professionalism. With keen attention to detail, Clint is dedicated to delivering high-quality results while promoting trust and collaboration with clients and colleagues alike.
Joining Patterson Homes, Clint is thrilled to contribute to a team that values craftmanship and exceptional customer service. His ability to maintain strong relationships and ensure ease of communication makes him valuable in every project.
Outside of work, Clint enjoys water sports and is actively involved in the local football club. As a devoted family man with three boys, he values the connections he builds both professionally and personally.
Carl is a dedicated accounting professional with four years of hands-on experience in managing financial records and supporting business operations. His career has been shaped by a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Recently, he completed his master’s degree in business administration to further improve his skills and broaden his knowledge in accounting and finance, with the goal of better serving the companies he works with.
With his transition to Patterson Homes, he is eager to contribute his expertise to support the company’s goal while continuing to learn and grow along the way.
In his personal pursuits, Carl enjoys playing volleyball to stay active and connect with friends. He also expresses his creativity trough arts and crafts and loves traveling to explore new cultures, try local foods, and meet new people.
Michelle brings more than 15 years of dedicated service to Patterson Homes, where she currently holds the crucial role of Operations Manager. Her responsibilities encompass managing accounts payable and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. Michelle’s extensive experience in various capacities within the realm of accounts, gained through her tenure with different companies, has equipped her with a deep understanding of financial processes and management.
Beyond her professional commitments, Michelle is a devoted mother of two children. Her personal life is characterized by a bustling schedule filled with the myriad activities that come with parenthood, particularly managing her kids’ busy extracurricular calendars. Juggling the demands of a dynamic professional role and the responsibilities of a parent, Michelle showcases remarkable multitasking skills and a commitment to excellence in both her personal and professional spheres.

Assuming the role of Project Administrator, Tracy Barnes actively participates in every stage of the building process, utilizing her extensive 20 years of knowledge and experience in construction administration.

Committed to providing exceptional customer service and support, she endeavours to cultivate positive relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and fellow team members. Meet Tarkan, the General Manager of Patterson Homes, who stands as a seasoned professional in the realm of property and construction with an impressive 18-year track record of success. His expertise extends across a spectrum of extensive projects, covering marketing, custom home construction, project management, and the development of residential detached housing, medium-density structures, and residential real estate. Tarkan’s emphasis on relationship management and business development has resulted in a consistent delivery of robust outcomes within the residential housing sector. With more than 35 years of experience in the building industry, David Luscombe embarked on his career as an apprentice carpenter. He expanded his expertise in building and construction through studies in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, and Building Construction at Swinburne Institute. Over the years, he has accumulated extensive experience working on diverse projects, including Renovations & Additions, New Homes, Multi-Unit Developments, Apartment Buildings, Shops, Offices, Factories/Warehouses, and Multi-Story Buildings.
David has held the status of a registered Building Practitioner since the mid-1980s and has been a dedicated member of the Housing Industry Association for over 25 years. His commitment to excellence and wealth of knowledge make him a seasoned professional in the field.
Before joining the Patterson Homes team, Jorge dedicated 16 years to the prefabricated timber industry, serving as a designer and detailer for engineered floor and roof trusses. His transition to Patterson Homes brings with it a wealth of valuable design knowledge, along with an exceptional eye for detail and precision. Jorge is known for his excellent interpersonal communication skills and willingness to assist wherever possible.
Beyond the confines of his professional responsibilities, Jorge engages in volunteer work with a focus on teaching to enhance people’s lives and promote strong family and personal values.
An energetic and vibrant personality, Jorge is passionate about sports, both as a spectator and a participant. His primary sporting interests span across AFL, NFL, NRL, NBA, tennis, soccer, and cricket.
Meet Nathan, our Project Supervisor, boasting an extensive 22-year tenure in the building industry. A certified carpenter since 2008, he recently augmented his expertise by completing the Diploma of Building Surveying.
Nathan specializes in the diverse realms of residential construction, placing significant emphasis on cultivating robust client relationships, ensuring reliability, and delivering top-tier workmanship. Transitioning to the next phase of his career with Patterson Homes, Nathan expresses his delight in discovering a boutique building company that shares his fervour for meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to customer service.
Outside the professional arena, Nathan finds solace in the great outdoors, indulging in activities like fishing and camping. As a dedicated snowboarder, he also maintains an active lifestyle through weekly basketball games.
